I bought a Maine Coon from Kasia a few years ago. It's been 5 years since he is in our home. He's hiding healthy all the time, there were no health problems. From a cheerful kitten, who liked mischief and fun, grew into a sedate and proud tomcat. Although now she likes to chase a cat's fishing rod with feathers. Like any cat, it has a favorite family member. Then he likes to be close to him constantly. Be it under the desk, close to the legs, on the bed tucked under the blanket when it's cold, or on the dresser while keeping eye contact with the person. A constant ritual is an effusive greeting of the returning home member. The program then includes rolling on the floor, purring loudly and, of course, petting. Occasionally you can hear meows before you put the key in the door lock. In my case, the undoubted advantage is that the cat tolerates traveling by car exceptionally well. No meows and calls for rescue :) The tomcat curls up in a ball and for most of the journey he is napping. I highly recommend females from this cattery. Marcin Woźniak 10.12.2017
